Following the investment, Verdane helped EasyPark implement specific actions to drive pan-European growth in Germany, Italy and Spain, developing and to execute the add-on acquisition plan. This included redirected focus towards tangible measures of customer satisfaction through Net Promoter Score (NPS); a strengthening of the management team, recruiting through Verdane’s extensive network; revitalising the product development roadmap with a focus on innovation, including strategically positioning EasyPark in the context of ‘SmartCities’ and towards the automotive industry; and, helping to shift from push to pull sales to achieve even faster growth and economies of scale, enabled by the successful EasyPark mobile app.
Today, EasyPark is a leading European player with unique coverage of its service in over 200 cities, which users can use seamlessly across borders. In 2016 alone, EasyPark processed 35 million parking transaction. EasyPark is still part of Verdane Capital VC VII’s porfolio.
