Verdane Capital closes new fund at record SEK 3bn

Verdane Capital IX AB (Verdane IX) has closed at its hard-cap with SEK 3 billion in commitments. The fund, which is Verdane’s largest to date, was significantly oversubscribed. Verdane IX will invest in small- and medium-sized growth companies in Northern Europe, primarily by providing liquidity to owners of unlisted portfolios.

Verdane Capital to sell Eniram to global leader in marine and energy markets

Verdane Capital VIII K/S (Verdane VIII), the largest shareholder in the Finnish software company Eniram Oy (Eniram), has agreed to sell all of its shares to Wärtsilä Oyj (Wärtsilä). During Verdane’s ownership period, the Company has changed its strategic direction and business model leading to 66% growth in recurring revenue and profitability.

The Nordic Private Equity fund Verdane Capital VIII (“Verdane Capital”) acquires three companies in the global wind power industry, all of which are located in Denmark: JSB Group, Jupiter Group, and Polytech. During the past three years, all three companies have experienced significant global growth, and together employ approximately 1600 people across three continents. Verdane Capital is planning for more acquisitions in Denmark.

Verdane buys shares in five companies from Sequent Invest

Verdane Capital VIII (Verdane) has bought shares in five companies within facility management, construction engineering and point of sales systems for restaurants. Seller is the Swedish investment company Sequent Invest. Aggregate annual revenue for the five companies is Skr 900m.
